When it Comes to Food We Should Listen to Our Bodies

I have believed for decades that cravings--unless you're pregnant--are nature's way of telling us that we need a certain nutrient. So many people are afraid of eating different foods, and I am sorry to say, afraid of their own bodies betraying them by bringing on some kind of disease, especially older people.



I am 64 years old and take absolutely no prescription medication and don't ever plan to. I watched my grandma take 7-10 pills every morning and it did not save her from death. Nothing will. But taking medication, IMO, is just one more way to speed to process of death along.

Mother Nature has everything we need to maintain our health and to cure our ills. When your body is craving something, EAT  IT! If you will train your body to not want fast food, sugar, and sodas, and are moderate in your consumption of alcohol, and believe wholeheartedly that nature will provide, you will begin to discover that you only crave things that your body needs and are good for you.
